Is EyeWorx COVID-19 compliant?

EyeWorx is doing everything in our control to keep you and our staff safe:

  • On entering or testing room all clients and staff are to sanitise their hands with sanitiser provided.
  • All clients to wear their own mask or cloth face covering upon arrival to the facility.
  • Staff will be wearing face shields, and masks when in close proximity to clients.
  • Please allow us time between appointments to sanitize surfaces and instruments.
  • Please inform us if you are not feeling well, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

Your patience and understanding during this difficult and stressful time will be greatly appreciated.

How long does it take to get my glasses?

They will be available to you once you have past all the necessary credit checks still being the 7 – 10 days after your approval. Note that certain orders require specialised materials and may take a little longer. Your EyeWorx consultant will advise you as such

What should I bring with to my eye examination?

We will need the following documents:

  • A copy of your ID Book/Passport
  • 3 x bank statements. (Last 3 months)
  • 1 x payslip. (Last months)
  • All bank account details
  • And if you have glasses already, please bring them.

What should I bring to collect my glasses?

Your bank card associated with you current bank account that you submitted on your Eyeworx contract.

What should I expect?

You’ve made the choice to go for an eye examination. This could be your first ever eye test, or you haven’t been to EyeWorx before. Either way, rest assured that we’ll take the utmost care of your vision needs. Our team of experienced and professional optometrists provide thorough eye examinations to determine an accurate prescription and in-depth assessment of eye health.

How do I clean my glasses?

DEFENITELY NOT with your shirt! The quick and easy option is the microfibre cloth that you will receive in your glasses case. For an extra thorough clean, please ask your optometrist for guidance.

How often should I have my eyes tested?

The frequency of eye examinations that is necessary, depends on the patient’s age, eye health, condition of the visual system and whether the patient is using contact lenses or spectacle correction. A comprehensive eye examination at least every 2 years are recommended. For patients wearing contact lenses, have glaucoma or cataracts an annual eye test is recommended. Regular eye exams are important to ensure optimal visual performance and for early detection of eye conditions.

What guarantee do you give on products and services?

We guarantee all materials and services against defective workmanship for one year. For example, a factory fault or a clinical mistake will be covered. Something that is clearly not our fault, such as you drove over your glasses, will not fall under our guarantee.
